Thousands of years ago, Copal was considered a sacred resin by the Mayans and Aztecs of Mexico and Central America. The Mayans would offer Copal to the Gods as one of their most valuable offerings, along with tobacco and cocoa.
Copal is still used today in shamanic ceremonies for energy protection, offering, cleansing and purification. It is an excellent incense to make positive changes, and has a rich, sweet ‘piney’ scent that brings peace and harmony.
There are 10 jumbo cones in each packet with a burning time of approx 20 minutes per cone. These Myrrh incense cones can be used along with a backflow burner to create impressive smoke flow displays.
The smoke from backflow incense cones flows down through a backflow burner and creates a mist around the product. When backflow incense burns the mist, it creates can leave a light residue on the burner and the surface the burner is placed on. This is from natural oils and resins within the incense and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Never leave burning incense unattended and always place incense burners on a heatproof surface.
